On 16th November I’ll be presenting a special talk on the Warwickshire Museum’s extremely rare sixteenth century lute. Made by Hans Frei, one of the lute equivalents of ‘Stradivarius’, very few original lutes have survived in museum and private collections.
The illustrated talk will be accompanied by live music on a faithful reproduction, including pieces contemporary to the original lute itself.
The event starts at 7pm and tickets are £5.
